• Bullying at Workplace

    Workplace bullying is a constant pattern of malicious treatment from others at work which causes either temporary or permanent damage to others. It is one of the most dangerous problems facing employees today as it creates an unaccepted, unwarranted level of stress and anxiety in the victim and his or her family. Bullying at workplace occurs when one employee suffers from or engages in behaviors that are related to humiliation, aggression, violence or abuse. This includes verbal abuse, physical violence, humiliation, threats, humiliation, discrimination, ridicule. It can also include activities such as theft, fraud and sexual harassment.

    Bullied children and staff members have experienced shock, anxiety and stress when subjected to such abuse in the workplace. Some people who are being bullied at workplace feel like they are out of control and have no idea how to deal with the problem. Some are unable to stop the bullying because they fear for their safety and well-being. Often they leave the workplace feeling dejected and angry. Many professionals who have dealt with workplace bullying say that the victim is always the victim and the perpetrator or others who tease or harass them are also the villains.

    The majority of employees who are being bullied have to experience some form of harassment, which include offensive language, humiliation, degradation, ridicule or other type of unpleasant conduct. Bullying has a sexual nature because the victims are made to feel guilty of something they did not do and make fun of them. The bullying takes place at school and in the playground, at the office and in many other places. Most bullying occurs in the workplace because there is no one to stop it except the victims.

    Harassment in the workplace is defined by certain federal laws that make it illegal to make anyone uncomfortable in any given situation where their dignity is threatened. Workplace bullying has become a serious problem because some people who participate in it think that the system will not touch them back. But there are instances where the authorities do take action against employees involved in bullying. In order for an employee to be put on trial for harassment, there has to be proof beyond reasonable doubt that the conduct actually happened. There have been many cases of harassment lawsuits in recent years, most of which were won by the plaintiffs.

    Bullying in the workplace can take the form of sexual harassment or discriminatory conduct. In sexual harassment, a person who is subjected to this behavior is subjected to hostile environment and sexual abuse. This means that if a person feels like they are being harassed because of their gender, race, nationality, ethic, or because they are different from other employees, they have a strong case. They may file a charge of workplace sexual harassment, even if the incident does not happen while they are working. If they are allowed to keep their job, the employer may be liable for damages.

    There are cases of people who are just bullies. They may brag about their power in the office and might brag about unwanted sexual advances or propositions. Their colleagues might not believe them, but everyone has to assume that everyone in that workplace is not experiencing any unwanted sexual advances or propositions. The victim is subjected to humiliating and often painful conduct at the hands of the bully. In some cases, the victim is afraid to pursue the charges due to the fear that the alleged bully will leave the workplace and relocate to another state or be given a life sentence in jail.

    There are so many workplace bullying horror stories that it would be impossible to mention them all in one article. Two recent examples include a police officer and a McDonald's waitress. A former Miss Brazil was reportedly viciously attacked by another patron at a hotel after he criticized her appearance. A young woman working at a casino was reportedly harassed by a dealer. There are stories coming out of every place you look.

    Bullying in the workplace is a terrible problem that affects everyone who lives with or works by someone who experiences bullying at the workplace. It can lead to mental health problems including depression, self-esteem issues, and even violence. This needs to be stopped.
